Northern Goldsmiths (1932) Designer: Alfred Glover Location: Blackett Street/ Pilgrim Street and Westgate Road/Clayton Street West. Materials: Gilded Metal. Status: Unlisted. Two identical gilded metal clocks with a gilded female figure above, on the premises of Northern Goldsmiths. The original Northern Goldsmiths buildings was constructed c.1890 to the design of James Cackett, the clocks were added in 1932 by Cackett, Burns Dick and Mackellar. The female figures are the work of Alfred Glover.
